6/25/2016 My grandmother called me saying that our beloved pug Beefy was run over. I thought at first that it was all a prank, but she was crying. Thats how I knew this wasn't a joke. His death was a terrible accident. My grandfather didn't know he was there. If I was there I would have made sure Beefy wasn't in the way, but I don't live with or talk to my grandfather anymore. He was such a good pug, I'm going to miss him a lot, but I know that all dogs go to heaven and he'll be fine.
I remember the day we found the guy in the middle of the street, he was lost and had no collar or chip so we decided to take him in. He always sat next to my mom and tried to give her attention, but my mom was allergic so she'd have to tell the poor guy to go away. Then we moved him to my grandparents house and he lived there for the rest of his life, this is also the same place where he died in the driveway. We'll miss you buddy,,,
There's nothing I can say that will make this any better, but I can at least offer my condolences and tell you I'm so so sorry. You showed me tons of pictures of Beefy over these past couple of months and it's clear that you absolutely adore him. I can't imagine how you feel, but I can be available for talking about it if you need it. Or, if you don't want to talk about it, then I can talk about anything else to keep your mind off of it.
I'm really sorry and my best wishes to you and your family in this time.
